Who uses Hypnobirthing?

You may be wondering if hypnobirthing is for you. You may be thinking it sounds a bit woo woo, and not realistic. Or that it's only for some types of birth.

✨️Forget all the bull you hear about it being anti pain-relief and only for straightforward birth. You can use hypnosis techniques on their own or alongside any other method of pain relief.

✨️Forget all the things you've heard about people doing a class and being promised the perfect, pain free experience then being disappointed because they had an epidural. I can't speak for other classes but that certainly doesn't happen in mine.

✨️Forget all the ideas that if you have intervention or you birth plan goes out the window, it means the hypnobirthing was rubbish and didn't work

✨️Forget all the stories about people being set up to fail because their birth plan went out the window and they didn't get the dream birth. My class is an honest, realistic approach. You'll leave with tools and techniques that are adaptable throughout labour so however things turn out, it will still be useful.

I teach in a down to earth, honest way and I have no opinion on where or how you plan to give birth, I just care that you have some useful techniques to keep yourself calm and confident.

The truth is it's suitable for any type of birth and any situation.

✨️Yes you can use this if you want no pain relief or all the drugs available plus an epidural.

✨️Yes you can use this if you are having a c section.

✨️Yes you can use this in a high risk pregnancy.

✨️You can use this no matter where or how you give birth.

If your birth goes the complete opposite to your plan - you will be even more glad you had some fabulous techniques to cope with it.

If you like the sound of a straight talking, honest, down to earth class, then I may be the right fit for you.

Get in touch to have an informal chat.
